Lauren Lassabe Shepherd is a historian of American higher education. She is the author of Resistance from the Right: Conservatives and the Campus Wars in Modern America (University of North Carolina Press, 2023). Shepherd is an instructor in the School of Education at the University of New Orleans and an IUPUI-Society for US Intellectual History Community Scholar.
